J Hutton is a gifted video editor and creative collaborator with a passion for telling stories that touch the heart. His forte is his ability to weave pictures, rhythm and sound to create the perfect mood, timing, and sense of place and moments. He believes there’s a natural rhythm to life, slow and fast, high and low and he uses this rhythm to tell stories. He elevates every script he touches.
He has edited music videos, commercials and ad campaigns for Ford Motor Company, Pepsi, Frito Lay, Six Flags, and AT&T, and corporate sales and marketing videos for clients such as Mazda, HP, DXC Technology, NTT Data, 7-Eleven and the Dallas Cowboys. But his real love is editing documentaries. He has completed several documentaries and episodes for television series including Small Business Today and Walker, Texas Ranger as an editor for The Stokes Group in Dallas.
For four years, he edited the nationally syndicated news segment, An American Moment, hosted by Charles Kuralt and James Earl Jones.
J holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the University of Texas at Arlington.
