Claire Chiappetta: Line Producer

Claire Chiappetta is the President and Executive Producer of Cactex Media, a Dallas production company that creates innovative and interactive content for a wide range of worldwide companies.  Cactex Media’s clients include JC Penney, NTT Data, DXC Technology, Leidos, General Electric, Microsoft, Mazda and CBS News.

Claire has over 25 years of experience in corporate messaging, video production, media relations for global corporations, as well as network television journalism. She began her career as a producer for CBS News, where she covered the 1992 presidential election and produced for the legendary correspondent Charles Kuralt.  Her journalism work was honored with a national Emmy Award and a George Foster Peabody Award. She went on to produce a documentary for KERA, a pilot of a National Public Radio/New York Times collaboration for PBS. 

For four years, she produced the nationally syndicated series, “An American Moment with Charles Kuralt” and “An American Moment with James Earl Jones,” turning out 314 segments each year. That work garnered a Gold Camera Award from the U.S. International Film Festival.  She also conceived and produced an award-winning one-hour documentary on childhood development for KERA-TV, the PBS affiliate in Dallas.  

As a senior producer for Gaylord Entertainment, Claire managed video production teams in the US, Europe and Asia and earned a reputation as a leader and manager of cost-effective video production processes. 

Since she founded her own production company, Cactex Media, in 2006, Claire and her team have created segments that have supported over $3.2 billion in clients’ sales pursuits. She offers clients an array of services including development of web content, interactive demonstrations, live events, digital video productions and sales events. 

 Claire holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from College of New Rochelle in NY.
